Our Story

Fresh Out Education was founded five years ago by educators, mentors, and advocates from all walks of life, united by one belief: that everyone deserves access to the knowledge and tools that create real opportunity.

We started with financial literacy because money, how to earn it, save it, and build with it, is the foundation of everything else. Over time, we expanded into technology and career readiness because we saw firsthand that one skill alone wasn't enough to change someone's trajectory.

Today we serve system-impacted individuals, formerly incarcerated people, foster youth, low-income families, and anyone else the system underprepared, as well as the nonprofits and organizations working alongside them every day.

We're still growing. But the mission has never changed: fresh start, full potential, for everyone.

Who We Are

  • At Fresh Out Education, we believe the path forward starts with practical skills. Every program we run is built to be immediately useful, completely accessible, and rooted in real respect for the people we serve.

    We meet people where they are no prerequisites, no judgment. We teach skills you can use the same week you learn them. And we remove every barrier we can, because access should never be the thing that holds someone back.

    Financial literacy gets you stable. Technology skills make you competitive. Career readiness gets you hired. We connect all three because one piece alone is never enough.

We exist for the people the system forgot to prepare.

Fresh Out Education is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering system-impacted individuals with the practical skills they need to build stable, self-sufficient lives. We believe that circumstances not character determine who gets access to financial knowledge, technology tools, and career resources. We exist to change that.
